The Vango Soul 200 is a lightweight 2-person tunnel tent designed for adventurers who want a fast, simple pitch without compromising on waterproofing. Featuring Vango's Protex 70D flysheet with a 3,000mm hydrostatic head and inner-first pitch, it's up in around 7 minutes on two poles. At just 2.17 kg with a 52 × 15 cm pack size, it's compact enough for a bike rack, rucksack, or small car boot.

Unlike the dome-style Vango Tay 200, the Soul uses a low-profile tunnel design that offers better wind stability and a more streamlined shape — ideal for exposed coastal pitches along the South West coast path or breezy Cornish campsites.

Available at our Newquay showroom — 4 Bamber House, Victoria, PL26 8LQ.

Soul 200 vs Tay 200 — Tunnel vs Dome

Both tents use the same Protex 70D fabric and inner-first pitch, but the Soul is lighter (2.17 kg vs 3.24 kg), packs smaller, and pitches faster (7 vs 10 mins). The Soul's tunnel design sits lower to the ground and handles wind better. The Tay 200 offers more headroom and a porch with Crystal Clear windows — better for festival use where you want more living space. The Soul is the choice when weight and wind resistance matter more.

Soul 200 vs Soul 300

The Soul 200 and Soul 300 share the same tunnel design — the 300 adds a third berth and weighs 2.86 kg. For solo campers wanting extra space or two people camping comfortably, the 200 is the right size. For three people or a couple wanting more room, step up to the 300.

Great at service, not used tent yet

Very good. Great reduction on the tents and fast delivery. I gave set then up yet but I’m hoping they’re good!
